Art 100 Honors Research Project 100 points
Topic, Abstract and one cited resource in MLA format: due Oct. 7 (10 points) If you are working in a group, let me know at this time. The group submits one paper for all.
Research Project: A Paper, Your Created You Tube Video, A Power point Presentation with Audio, A Video Recorded Lecture of Your Topic, 3D Model/ Architecture.
You may work in a group or alone. Groups should be no larger than 3 people.
One requirement for the honors class is a research project on a topic of your choosing that may or may not incorporate your major. For example, if you are interested in the medical field, you might research Ancient Medical Instruments and Practices of the Ancient World. Here are some ideas to get you thinking:

and differences between then and now.
15. Battle strategies in one of the periods we cover. 16. Propose a new topic not listed.
All these topics can be narrowed down or expanded upon depending upon the topic and information. If there’s not enough information, then you need to expand and incorporate or broaden the topic. Choose a topic that you find interesting. I am open to a well-thought-out proposal.

Points to Cover in your Research Project:
Set the stage. Provide general information about the topic.
What was happening during this period that may have impacted your topic?
Who? What? Where? When? How? Materials? Resources? Technology?
What did you learn from the work that relates to our lives today?
Include at least 5 art works or examples about the topic. (Title, date, artist, medium, related to the topic, movement.) Visuals are important.
Your research project is due Nov. 16.
