  Report Elements

  The report needs to include the following elements of analysis.

• Specify the industry you’re interested in
• Analyze the current impact of IoT on the given industry
• Analyze the potential impact of IoT on the given industry in the future

  Note: The impact could be positive and negative. Whether it is positive or negative you may provide supporting evidence for your arguments. Cited sources should be listed in references.

  Report Format Specifics

  The text of the report is to be:

• 1.5 spacing
• 12 pt. font
• 1″ margins on all sides
• All pages (except for the tile page) must be numbered
• Formatted for 8-1/2″ x 11″ white paper
• About 3 pages (inclusive of inline diagrams and figures)
• Follow an acceptable system for references (e.g. APA or MLA)
  Note: The cover page and appendices are not included in the page count.

  Writing Style

• One idea per paragraph and the first sentence should be the topic sentence (main

  idea) in the paragraph. Make concrete statement whenever possible.

• Make use of sections and headings so that the information is easy to locate and

  follow.

• Follow the acceptable business writing convention and edit the paper. Poorly written

  case will most assuredly lose points.
