Choose one topic from the list of social research ideas below.
Write a review of the relevant literature that covers the following:
(i) Outline of the research topic area with a review of the relevant literature pointing to the gaps in the knowledge.
(ii) The review should critically examine the literature in terms of the conceptual development and interpretation of the topic/problem area, the theoretical explanations offered and the assumptions that have been adopted so far.
(iii) The review should also assess any existing research about the topic (or related to the topic) in terms of the outcomes and methods used.

1. How important are Human Rights to social worker practitioners OR Humanitarian workers?

4. What are the long term psychological and/or social impacts of living in a refugee camp OR in an immigration detention centre?

9. How effective is narrative therapy when working with bereaved families?
10. How effective is the Australian government ‘closing the gap’ strategy?
